My Video Post

Technology is making it easier and easier for the convergence of the various pieces of hardware and software, that what would have been unthinkable in the past due to the complexity of the process, now makes it easy with so much at our fingertips.

First of all while I used to do most of my photography and video with a video camera, this changed with the smart phone, and thus with my HTC EVO the number of my pics increased. However with the Samsung Galaxy S3 it added a new dimension in terms of quality and facility of the process.

So for the Cross Country 2013, I decided to video a small segment of the riders on their return to Belize City at the Gracie Rock Mile 21 location. With Dropbox, this was automatically uploaded for me, and with Microsoft Windows Movie Maker I made my first movie. It was quite a learning experience which set the pace for further videos.

Furthermore with my blog, Facebook, Dropbox, smartphone, all I needed was to find the content, and thus this first video post. I just put it on You Tube with this post, but it wasn’t posted there initially as I did not think of it, anyway here is a link, hope it works.
